Media Center Beliefs
Media Center MissionThe mission of the Menlo School Media Center is to create an inviting environment to all patrons in helping them to develop a lasting relationship with the library as a place to find wonderful books, to encourage students to read and explore the world through books, and to assist students and teachers in becoming lifelong learners and users of information and technology.
Community/Family Reading NightThe Menlo School Media Center has once again been awarded a grant from the Menlo-Tillotson Charitable Foundation! Beginning January 10, 2012, the Media Center will be open on Tuesday evenings from 4:30-6:30 pm. **The day will change in late February through early May...so be looking for updates on reading nights! Students as well as community members are able to check out books, read, use computers to surf the Internet or to work on projects, and take AR tests. Community/Family Reading Night is made possible by a grant from the Menlo-Tillotson Charitable Foundation. The grant has also made it possible for many new books to be purchased to help update the collection of the Menlo School Media Center. Many thanks to this wonderful foundation.
